moving
I had lots of very important jobs when we were packing up all of our stuff. I helped mark some of the boxes with my crayons so we would know what room they would go in. I used markers a couple of times until I got marker on my shirt and then mama wouldn't let me use the markers anymore. I also vacuumed out the trucks because they were just begging for me to vacuum them.
I helped keep an eye on Moses. We had him tied up on his leash outside and I was sure to let mama and dada know when he chewed through his leash and took off across the street. I said "Dow-wa" which means bye-bye and when mama asked me what I was saying bye-bye to, I told her "Moh-moh" and I pointed across the street. I was very helpful. I also learned how to open and close all the doors shortly before we left the house, so I could let Moses and the kitty in and out all the time. I could also go out and help dada in the truck anytime I wanted to, which kept mama on her toes.

happy birthday
Yesterday I turned two-years-old. For my birthday I got to do lots of fun things. First I drove us to the train station where we got to ride the train all the way downtown. I loved the train and everytime it would stop at a station I would sign more because I wanted the train to go again. Then when we got out I pushed my stroller all over the place and climbed up and down lots of steps. We went to the children's museum which had lots of fun stuff to do. There were balls to put in tubes and blocks to stack and water to play in. There was a real helicopter to sit in. Then we came home on the train and after hours of playing it did not take long for me to fall asleep on dada's lap. Then because I ate all my green peas and tomato soup we got to go have ice cream with grandpa. I chose ice cream with m&m's because they are yummy. I had a very good day. Apparently next week it is going to be my birthday again and I am going to have cake and ice cream and presents. I can hardly wait.

moving
We just moved very far away from our old house. I had very many important jobs related to moving. One of my favorite jobs was being in charge of the tape. I made sure to stack all of the tape together so that we could find it easily. I also kept track of the tapegun and helped put tape on the boxes and sometimes the furniture. When dada ran out of tape he gave me the empty roll and sent me to mama for another one and then I took it back out to him. I can tell you the colors of some of the tape, I am especially good at telling you which ones are blue and yellow. More moving pictures to come.

dancing
I am very much into dancing. If I hear some music while we are out shopping then I will stop in the middle of the store and start shaking my bottom to let everyone know that there is music playing. In the car I am very insistent on listening to music, I start asking for it as soon as I am told we are going to go somewhere. I even put in specific song requests...I ask for the other song (uddy-dah) all the time.
I just discovered that if I push a chair in front of the entertainment center then I can reach the stereo and push buttons to my heart's content. This is my new favorite place to be. I can choose which song to listen to and I can start the song over as many times as I want to. This means that in our house we listen to the beginning of songs over and over and over again.

i love the park
In case I haven't mentioned it before, the park is my favoritist place on the planet. I ask to go to the park every day, usually many times a day. If you ask me where I am going I will respond "brah" with a very hopeful tone in my voice. There is no place better in the world to go than the park.
A couple of months ago I had a scary incident with one of those curly slides and ended up tumbling down the slide head over heels. I have not been too fond of them since. With a little coaxing from dada and pa I realized that it can be quite fun. I also learned that if you throw a ball up the slide it is really fun to watch it roll back down. I played this game over and over and over.
Yesterday when I went to the park everything was all wet because it had rained the day before. This made the park extra fun because there were lots of puddles to splash in. There were puddles on the cement and in the grass and on the sand volleyball court. I walked back and forth in them until my shoes and socks and pants were soaking wet. Then I went over to the sandbox and played in the puddles in the sandbox. Everytime my fingers got all muddy I would hold them out to mama and she would wipe them clean on a towel. I loved throwing the rocks in the puddle because it makes big splashes. Mama didn't have more shoes for me so I got to go barefoot to the grocery store. The lady at the door gave me a sticker and because my foot was bare I got to wear it on my foot where I could point at it the whole time we were there.

safari pictures
Last weekend I went to a drive-through zoo. My nan and pa came too. The best part was that I didn't have to sit in my carseat. I got to sit in everyone's laps and enjoy the view. The funniest part was the monkeys. They were running and jumping and fighting in their cages. I got to feed kangaroos and goats and baby tigers and sit on the back of a giant ape. I loved this so much that I did not want to get down. There were lots of animals to see and lots of walking to do. I have been to this zoo before but I found it much more interesting this time.

horses
My auntie has miniature horses and a few weeks ago I got to ride them for the first time. I had so much fun that I am not even sure what my favorite part was. First I rode on the back of the horse, and when my auntie made the horse go fast I was all smiles. Then I rode in the cart and that was fun, especially when the horse would run fast. I kept signing more because I loved it when the horse was running. Then I got to lead the horse around and give it treats. My auntie says I am a natural and I think she is quite right.
