moving

I had lots of very important jobs when we were packing up all of our stuff. I helped mark some of the boxes with my crayons so we would know what room they would go in. I used markers a couple of times until I got marker on my shirt and then mama wouldn't let me use the markers anymore. I also vacuumed out the trucks because they were just begging for me to vacuum them.

I helped keep an eye on Moses. We had him tied up on his leash outside and I was sure to let mama and dada know when he chewed through his leash and took off across the street. I said "Dow-wa" which means bye-bye and when mama asked me what I was saying bye-bye to, I told her "Moh-moh" and I pointed across the street. I was very helpful. I also learned how to open and close all the doors shortly before we left the house, so I could let Moses and the kitty in and out all the time. I could also go out and help dada in the truck anytime I wanted to, which kept mama on her toes.

Love, Elijah
