We signed Elijah up for soccer this year. It's only seven games, complete with a uniform and team pictures. His team is all 3 and 4 year olds and is hilarious to watch. Elijah (when we can get him on the field) basically just runs in the same direction as all of the other kids and ignores the ball. He also loves to fall down as do some of the others, so if one kid falls we always see several go down together. At this age we are lucky if the kids know which goal is theirs. Also keeping them playing soccer when there is a playground nearby is rough. This was before the first game, Elijah had just woken up from a nap and apparently was still a little tired. :)

day out with thomas

Complete with balloon animals (that would be a blue snake with green eyes and a green tongue, colors chosen by Elijah himself), petting zoo, temporary tattoos, and lots of Thomas merchandise. What could be better for a 3 yr. old?

Jonah says: I don't know what's up with this whole Thomas thing, but this piece of bark I'm holding is amazing.

gymboree

Once a month we go to Gymboree to play. We don't do the classes, but we get to go play on all the equipment. Jonah has not quite figured out how much fun it is, at least from his expression in these pictures! Elijah loves the mini trampoline and the rings.
